About the client
OJSC Borisovdrev is a long-established industrial wood processing company located in Borisov, Belarus. Its industrial roots date back to the early 20th century, while the modern Borisovdrev entity was formally established in the early 1970s through the consolidation of local wood processing facilities. Today, the company specializes in plywood and wood-based panel production, operating continuous manufacturing processes with high demand for reliable thermal energy.
EPC and engineering scope
Bersey undertook the EPC and engineering scope for turnkey delivery of the energy facility. Engineering services, system design and integration were addressed in line with the client's process requirements and operating conditions. The scope brought together the use of production residues as an energy source, the design of systems to meet applicable environmental requirements, and the work required for turnkey delivery.
Plant design
The plant is designed for 164,000 ton/year of wood waste combustion from MDF and Plywood production. The plant saves ~92,000 ton/year of CO₂.
