Controller and scope
Bersey Sınai ve Tıbbi Cihazlar İmalat ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. (“Bersey”) provides this notice under Article 10 of Turkish Law No. 6698 for visits to this website, enquiries, quotation and document requests submitted through it, and cookie/map preferences. Data and collection
We process names, email addresses, telephone numbers, company details where supplied, requested documents, messages and attachments provided through contact/document forms, email or telephone. Preference version, selection time, expiry and map permission are stored in your browser. IP address, request time, browser details and access/security logs may be processed electronically by the hosting and service infrastructure. Form submission is automated; review of correspondence is partly automated. Do not include unrelated personal data or sensitive personal data in your message. Recruitment and employee processing are outside this notice.
Purposes and legal grounds
Preparing quotations and pre-contract discussions rely on Article 5(2)(c). Answering general enquiries and maintaining business communications rely on legitimate interests under Article 5(2)(f), subject to your fundamental rights. Legal obligations rely on Article 5(2)(ç); legal claims and disputes on Article 5(2)(e). Technical access and security records support service continuity and information security under Article 5(2)(f), with due regard to your rights. Any separate processing requiring consent will be explained and offered separately. A preference record remembers your choice and controls optional content accordingly, assessed under legitimate interests in Article 5(2)(f), with due regard to your rights. Google Maps loading is controlled by your choice/consent. Google Analytics measurement takes place only with your explicit consent (Article 5(1)); you can withdraw it at any time via cookie preferences.
Recipients and external services
Authorised Bersey staff handle requests on a need-to-know basis. Hosting, email and form providers may receive data to deliver services; competent public authorities and legal advisers may receive data for legal obligations and protection of rights. Contact, information and document request forms transmit submitted details through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co). The Google Maps embed loads only with map permission or your “Load map” action; it may transmit IP address and technical connection details to Google. Fonts are hosted locally; Google Fonts connections are not used. Google Analytics loads only with your analytics permission; it then transmits IP address, device/browser details and page usage data to Google. Google Maps, Google Analytics and FormSubmit may involve international transfers. The applicable conditions and safeguards of Article 9 are required; viewing this notice or choosing cookies does not establish that those requirements have been met.
Retention
Data are retained for the time needed to handle the enquiry and the relevant transaction, and for applicable legal, contractual and legal-claim retention requirements. Once the purpose and legal retention grounds cease, data are deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Retention is assessed for each data and transaction type.
Cookies and browser storage
A localStorage record named bersey_cookie_preferences remembers cookie/map choices in this browser for up to 180 days. Google Maps does not load before permission. Your rights and requests
Under Article 11 you may learn whether your data are processed; request information; learn the purpose and whether use matches it; identify domestic and foreign recipients; request correction; request deletion or destruction under Article 7; request notification of corrections/deletion to recipients; object to an adverse outcome based solely on automated analysis; and seek compensation for unlawful processing. Send a written request identifying yourself and your request to the address above. You may also use an email address previously supplied to Bersey and registered in our system to write to info@berseykazan.com; other methods permitted by the applicable Communiqué remain available. Requests are answered as soon as possible and within 30 days. If processing entails additional cost, the Board’s applicable fee tariff may apply.
